Team Leaders/Chaperones... Sign up here and show up for a rally on Monday, February 26, 2024 from 10:00am to 3:00pm in Albany Empire State Plaza Legislative Office Building "Well" area. Sign up to be included in the day’s events. This registration will provide emails and information for the day and counts for food. Those that register will receive monthly requests for zoom meetings to learn more information.

We need more support for increased disability education for faculty and staff and additional programs to assist students with disabilities in higher education. Currently there is 4M for a total of $42.55 per student for students with disabilities in higher education for all of the sectors (CUNY, SUNY, Independent, and Proprietary Colleges) which is greatly appreciated. However, the ask is for an additional 11M for a total of 15M for the 2024-2025 annual budget year. Numbers continue to grow and last year 94,735 self disclosed in NY colleges. With the support of NYSED, a proposal to request funds for "Enhanced Supports" is happening.
